Ozzy Osbourne Pays Tribute to Beloved Dog Rocky: “See You on the Other Side”

Ozzy Osbourne broke the heartbreaking news of his beloved Pomeranian Rocky’s loss. In a moving moment that shows the gentler side of heavy metal’s most infamous character. Osbourne who is well-known for his gloomy songs and extravagant attitude shows a very sensitive and caring side when it comes to his pet.

The Prince of Darkness announced his friend’s death on Twitter on August 22. The friend was fifteen years old. Osbourne said: “Two days ago I lost my good friend Rocky who has been at my side for 15 years. I’ll see you on the other side my friend. I love you always – Ozzy”

Barbaranne Wylde wife of Ozzy’s long-time guitarist Zakk Wylde posted heartwarming messages of support in response to Osbourne’s Instagram post about the terrible news.: “Oh Sweet Boy Rocky. So Sorry @ozzyosbourne Love You.”

Additionally PETA sent a message of condolence saying: “We are so deeply sorry for your loss of sweet Rocky. May your 15 years of special memories and adventures together bring you comfort through the pain. Sending love from all of us at PETA.”

Kathy Rhoads D’Argenzio the late Randy Rhoads sister and Osbourne’s close friend and co-songwriter also expressed condolences along with actor Danny Trejo shows how much of an impact Rocky had on Osbourne’s life.

The warmth and encouragement the rock singer has gotten from fans and artists in the midst of her own personal sorrow serves as a reminder of the strong relationships that can form between people and their pets. Demonstrating that even well-known people like Ozzy Osbourne can get comfort and love from their animal friends.
