What makes this album stand out to you? Poetic, majestic, epic

What personal memories or experiences are tied to this song/album? Long travels by car in Morocco listening to this album

Which Nightwish album do you think is the best? Once (2004)
What makes this album stand out to you? A friend showed me the Nemo youtube video. I was hooked. The rest of the album was amazing. It was the album that took them to the next level.

What personal memories or experiences are tied to this song/album? Immediately after discovering Nightwish, they announced their first ever tour to Australia. I flew to Melbourne to see their first ever Austalian concert. I have seen them another three times since. They just keep raising the bar.

Which Nightwish album do you think is the best? Wishmaster (2000)
What makes this album stand out to you? This and Oceanborn are Nightwish’s best albums. They have a raw energy that other albums don’t have. They’re not as refined or as grandiose as their later albums, but they’re more compelling. The only reason I picked Wishmaster over Oceanborn is because She Is My Sin is on Wishmaster.

What personal memories or experiences are tied to this song/album? She Is My Sin was the first Nightwish song I ever heard. It felt like a slap in the face. I was blown away by how well Tarja’s soprano voice worked on a metal track. When I got home that night, I couldn’t open Napster fast enough to download the song. I was in love!
