Rock fans across the world are heartbroken. Ace Frehley the legendary guitarist and founding member of Kiss, has passed away at the age of 74.
Born Paul Daniel Frehley in the Bronx, Ace changed rock history forever. In 1973 he joined Kiss after answering a simple ad. With silver makeup and his signature “Spaceman” persona he became one of the most iconic guitarists in music.
Ace wasn’t just a performer. He was a showman, a dreamer and a pioneer. His blazing solos, flaming guitars and electrifying stage presence made every show unique. Songs like “Shock Me” and “Cold Gin” characterised his style as raw, loud and heartfelt.
Outside of Kiss he had a successful solo career with albums such as “Frehley Comet” and “Anomaly”. Fans admired his honesty, humor and cosmic appeal. He lived for music and his admirers who remained loyal to him over the decades.
His passing followed an accident in his studio and reports say he left this world peacefully, surrounded by loved ones. His bandmates, Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, called him “irreplaceable”. The entire rock community now celebrates his life, sharing memories, riffs and photos that shaped generations.

Ace Frehley was more than a guitarist. He was an inspiration to dreamers, outsiders and anyone who ever believed in the power of rock ‘n’ roll.
The Spaceman has returned to the stars, but his legacy will never fade. Every time a guitar screams and a crowd sings, his spirit lives on.
Rest easy, Ace.
You gave us fire, freedom and the sound of the stars.
Rock on, Spaceman. Forever.
